We are proud to announce that Katy Willett has become a Paul Harris Fellow!

What is a Paul Harris Fellow? It is a recognition from Rotary Club to members for giving to the Rotary Club.

What is the Rotary Club? Rotary is a global network of more than 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves. You may have seen your local Rotary Club marching in a parade or picking up trash beside a highway. Filling those free little libraries or reading to elementary children as part of their commitment to literacy in their local community – or helping with a food pantry (and filling those little pantries around town). Rotary Clubs provide members with volunteer opportunities to give locally and internationally whether it is for scholarships for local children or to fight Polio around the world.

Katy believes that if you do business in a community, you should be giving back to that community. Participation in networks to give back by volunteering locally is a key part of being a business owner. Rotary club supports many initiatives for health, clean water, mothers and children, and disaster response.

Want to find out more about local Rotary Clubs? Fuquay-Varina is lucky enough to have two clubs. The Fuquay-Varina Rotary Club – and the Fuquay-Varina Downtown Rotary Club.

More exciting? The Fuquay-Varina Rotary Club became a 100% Paul Harris Society Club. That means that every member of the club became a Paul Harris Fellow in 2024. Congratulations everyone!
